Patty McDowell | Manager

Patty McDowell started her experience in fine dining at DiFiore's Restaurant in the mid-eighties. She effectively worked in a high paced atmosphere learning about wines, fresh pasta, and Italian cuisine. She quickly became one of the key wait staff personnel that DiFiore's depended on during busy services. Patty then went to Ristorante Sorrento from 1992-1995, where service and food was praised in the Courant's Northeast Magazine. She made the transition to Carbone's Ristorante in Hartford in the mid-nineties, where she added table side service to her expertise. Patty became one of their key servers who took on small managerial tasks such as scheduling and most notably training new employees in the Carbone's way of fine dining. She moved on after a few years to Carmen Anthony, bringing her high self- motivation and exceptional service which led to guests asking for by name. After Carmen Anthony closed, she came back to the Carbone family where she in a new role as a manager with hands on experience working with her teammates to ensure everyone receives a positive Carbone's experience.
